My current F1/F2 breeding group comes from two sources. F1 snails bred in house, decendants of imported snails I have bought about a few years ago and F2 babies of F1 snails I have bough in Holland. The F1 have nicer, smoother shape and the F2 brough into the mix a bigger size and more contrasting color. I am very proud of the babies I sell. I am sure you have heard the rumor that "two tones" become two tone with time. Not true - my are "dipped in dark chocolate" from the very beginning.
